🚀 Forward Deployed Engineer
📍 LA | Hybrid
InnoForge are partnering with an innovative space & defence technology company building next-generation RF and communication systems for advanced terrestrial and space missions.
We are seeking a versatile Forward Deployed Engineer to support customer deployments, embedded systems integration, and high-performance networking environments.
Key Responsibilities:
• Install and configure embedded devices at customer sites
• Support deployment of SDR and RF communication systems
• Develop and maintain Linux-based networking software
• Work across embedded, cloud, and containerized environments
• Collaborate with customers and internal engineering teams
• Support performance optimization and system reliability
Requirements:
• 4+ years developing software for Linux systems
• Strong experience with C++, C and/or Python
• Knowledge of networking protocols (TCP/UDP)
• Experience with SDRs, RF systems, or GNURadio
• Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, or cloud infrastructure
• Strong communication and customer-facing skills
Desired Background:
• Embedded systems
• Aerospace or defence
• Digital signal processing
• High-performance networking systems
