⚡ Dynamism.io — we hire ex-founders with battle scars into the fastest growing companies in SF. We've partnered with a startup building Agent Behavior Monitoring (ABM) infrastructure — the observability layer for enterprise AI agents — to find their Forward Deployed Engineer.
💰 Compensation & Perks
• Salary: $200k – $300k base + equity
• Location: San Francisco (primarily on-site with enterprise customers)
🏢 About the Company
While traditional observability focuses on exceptions and latency, this company's ABM surfaces behavioral anomalies like instruction drifts and context retrieval loss in scaled production environments. Hundreds of teams building autonomous agents rely on them to understand how their systems are behaving post-deployment. They've raised $30M+ across two rounds in the past five months from Lightspeed, SV Angel, Valor Equity Partners, Nova Global, plus angels including Chris Manning, Michael Ovitz, Michael Abbott, Cory Levy, and Kevin Hartz.
🎯 Why This Role Exists
This hire is critical to unblock the company's ability to bring on more enterprise customers and scale deployments. You'll embed the agent behavior monitoring infrastructure directly into customer production systems — and be the technical voice of the customer inside the company.
⚙️ What You'll Do
• Integrate deeply with customers — set up tracing inside their codebase, analyze traces to identify failure modes, configure behaviors on the platform.
• Build platform features, often feature-flagged, to unblock customers and accelerate time to go-live.
• Work on-site with customers, primarily in SF — build relationships and guide them through technical decisions around agent monitoring and evaluation.
• Act as the bridge between customers and internal product, research, and GTM teams.
• Own 3-5 customer deployments in parallel from initial integration to successful production adoption.
✅ Must-have qualifications
• 1-4 years of experience — strong generalist, ideally an ex-founder or someone with early-stage startup experience.
• Open-ended problem solver — thrives in ambiguity.
• Deep familiarity with building and evaluating AI agents.
• Comfortable working on-site with customers.
✨ Nice to have
• Experience with observability, tracing, or monitoring infrastructure.
• Background in AI evals, red-teaming, or alignment.
🚀 Why Dynamism
Joining Dynamism means stepping into a network of the best: from exited YC CTOs to founding engineers from unicorns like Brex, Scale AI, and Retool, and Quant PhDs who've crushed Presidents Club. We vouch for you and connect you directly with the founders — no black holes, just fast-tracked interviews.
