Position Overview
As a Forward Deployment Engineer – AI, you will work directly with enterprise clients to design, build, deploy, secure, and operationalize AI-powered solutions in real-world environments. This is a high-impact engineering role for builders who thrive in ambiguity, move quickly, solve complex enterprise problems, and bridge executive conversations with hands-on implementation. The role focuses on helping customers move from AI pilots to secure, scalable production deployments using technologies such as Microsoft Copilot, Copilot Studio, Azure AI Foundry, Azure OpenAI, Microsoft Graph, Power Platform, Microsoft Purview, Entra ID, AI agents, and custom AI applications.
Responsibilities
Deploy AI and agentic solutions into enterprise production environments
Build enterprise-grade workflows, integrations, and custom AI applications
Operationalize Microsoft Copilot and Copilot Studio use cases
Implement secure AI data access patterns and support Retrieval-Augmented Generation architectures
Work directly with enterprise stakeholders to understand business challenges and translate workflows into AI-enabled solutions
Lead rapid prototyping and proof-of-concept efforts
Troubleshoot deployment and adoption issues in real time
Conduct workshops, demonstrations, and architecture reviews
Develop APIs, orchestration workflows, and integrations across platforms such as ServiceNow, Salesforce, SAP, SharePoint, Microsoft Teams, Dataverse, and Graph API
Support AI governance and security initiatives by helping establish guardrails, runtime protections, observability, telemetry, and risk mitigation practices
Contribute reusable deployment accelerators, solution kits, and feedback that help shape Cyclotron’s AI deployment methodologies and go-to-market offerings
Qualifications
5+ years of experience in cloud engineering, AI engineering, or enterprise solution delivery
Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure and Generative AI technologies
Strong understanding of Azure OpenAI, Copilot Studio, Microsoft Graph API, REST APIs, identity and access management, and enterprise platform integrations
Strong scripting or development skills in Python, C#, JavaScript or TypeScript, and PowerShell
Experience deploying AI or automation solutions in enterprise environments
Familiarity with RAG architectures, AI agents, prompt engineering, workflow orchestration, and vector databases
Understanding of AI governance, compliance, security concepts, and enterprise data protection practices
Strong executive communication skills and the ability to explain complex AI concepts to non-technical stakeholders
Ability to work directly with enterprise customers in fast-moving, ambiguous environments under tight timelines
Additional Knowledge & Skills
Preferred experience with Microsoft Copilot deployments and Copilot extensibility
Experience with Power Platform
Familiarity with Microsoft Security technologies such as Purview, Sentinel, Defender, and Entra
Experience working with Fortune 500 clients or in professional services organizations
Experience with AI observability, telemetry, and agent governance
Microsoft certifications in Azure, Security, or AI are valuable
Strong problem-solving skills and a customer-focused mindset
Ability to switch between strategy and hands-on coding
Takes ownership and understands both AI innovation and enterprise realities
