Forward Deployed Engineer | Agentic AI | LLM Systems
Hybrid (Northern Virginia)
Up to $230k Base + RSUs + 20% Bonus
I’m partnered with one of the fastest-growing AI companies in the market right now. A well-funded unicorn building trusted, production-grade AI solutions for enterprise and government environments.
This is NOT another “AI chatbot” company.
Their technology is being deployed across mission-critical environments where explainability, security, observability, and real-world performance actually matter.
They’re hiring Forward Deployed Engineers to work directly with customers; designing, deploying, and scaling agentic AI systems in production.
You’ll operate at the intersection of:
Applied AI
Software Engineering
Customer Architecture
LLM Systems
Enterprise Transformation
The role is highly hands-on and ideal for engineers who enjoy ownership, ambiguity, and solving complex business problems with modern AI tooling.
You’ll be working with:
Agentic AI workflows
LLM fine-tuning & evaluation
RAG pipelines & vector databases
Kubernetes / Docker / cloud infrastructure
AI observability & guardrails
Production deployments across AWS, Azure & GCP
The environment:
Fast-growing AI unicorn ($250M+ raised)
Strong engineering culture with high autonomy
Real enterprise adoption — not experimentation
Significant customer exposure and strategic ownership
Equity upside through RSUs
The kind of profiles likely to thrive:
Backend-leaning full-stack engineers
Applied AI / ML Engineers
Technical Solutions Architects
Engineers who enjoy customer interaction and deployment work
Builders who can move between infra, backend, and AI systems comfortably
What makes this role different is the impact.
You won’t be building internal prototypes or isolated demos, you’ll be deploying AI systems that organizations genuinely rely on in production environments.
If you’re interested in hearing more, apply here or feel free to reach out directly.
