Job Description

Job Title: AI Workflow Engineer

Location: Hoboken, NJ

Work Arrangement: On-site, Remote

Key Responsibilities

Design and implement AI-driven workflows for the course lifecycle.
Build automation pipelines for curriculum and content processing.
Develop AI-assisted tools for course creation and operational processes.
Apply ML, NLP, and generative AI techniques.
Build and optimize data pipelines for educational content.
Develop analytics and reporting solutions.
Analyze data for process optimization.
Create dashboards for operational metrics.
Support and expand AI-enabled multimedia workflows.
Design, develop, and maintain full-stack web applications to operationalize AI workflows.
Build and document APIs and integrations.
Manage the build, release, and deployment lifecycle for web services.
Collaborate with subject matter experts and stakeholders.
Proactively identify and lead improvements across workflows.
Support coordination of development efforts.
Document systems and workflows.
Coordinate delivery with teammates.

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, AI, or related field.
Experience with AI-assisted and agentic development tools.
Strong understanding of ML, Deep Learning, and Generative AI concepts.
Experience with Python, APIs, automation workflows, and backend systems.
Experience with web development fundamentals and full-stack patterns.
Experience with data pipelines and handling structured/unstructured data.
Working knowledge of databases and data storage.
Familiarity with AI applications in media workflows.
Understanding of Business Intelligence concepts.
Ability to support SME-driven course development using AI tools.
Strong collaboration and communication skills.
Ability to manage development tasks and priorities.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with learner analytics or digital learning platforms.
Strong ability to design, optimize, and automate complex workflows using AI.
Familiarity with product analytics and workflow optimization.
Experience supporting content production workflows with AI.

$35 to $45 per hour
