*Silicon photonics / optical-interconnect-systems experience is a strong plus.
We're a stealth startup building AI-assisted circuit search and simulation software for analog ICs.
This is an early, founding-level role with real equity and real influence over where the product — and the company — goes.
We're looking for a Senior High-Speed Analog/RF IC Design Engineer to be our circuit truth owner:
the person who decides what is physically credible, defines the architecture and methodology, and earns the trust of analog customers.
Preferably already living in Greater Boston.
We know AI does not replace analog expertise.
The engine is aimed to support designers and is useless without a real analog architect.
The role
Collaborate with us on shaping how our system recognizes valid, useful, and high-performing high-speed analog/RF circuits.
Define high-speed receive and transmit front-end architectures; choose and trade off topology families.
Define analog specs, constraints, and success criteria — noise, bandwidth, stability, linearity, power, layout/parasitics.
Size transistors and bias circuits; design, review, and debug generated circuit candidates.
Build SPICE testbenches, measurement flows, and corner checks — and interpret the results.
The team member
5+ years in analog/RF or mixed-signal IC design/verification, with real high-speed front-end work.
Hands-on with high-speed front ends — sensitive input/receive stages, high-speed output/line drivers, SerDes-adjacent front ends, or comparable.
Intuition for noise, bandwidth, stability, linearity, power, and layout/parasitics.
Strong SPICE simulation and circuit-debugging skills; comfort across DC, AC, transient, noise, mismatch, PVT, and corner analyses.
Nice to have
Silicon-photonics / optical-interconnect-systems depth
Link budgets, signal integrity, sensitivity, and error-rate targets.
Packaging, co-packaging, and thermal constraints.
High-speed serial / interconnect link architectures.
Equity & terms
Meaningful founding-team equity — substantial for a true founding analog lead.
Flat hierarchy. Mission-driven. Less bureaucracy, more impact.
We're preparing to raise a founding round in the next ~3 months, with the goal of moving founding-team members onto salary after the round closes and scaling our product from pilot to production.
Unfortunately, we’re not able to provide visa sponsorship at this stage.
