Comparo is a consulting company that specializes in hiring for our customers.

This is a permanent direct-hire job opening for our customer which is a company located in Lake Orion that designs and manufactures industrial equipment and machinery.

Job Description:
Oversee the commissioning, troubleshooting, and start-up of industrial machinery at customer facilities.

Responsibilities:
· Support field supervision team to ensure proper machinery installation, system start-up and commissioning.
· Communicate with design, electrical engineering and field service teams to facilitate smooth transition from design through machine installation
· Conduct regular site visits to verify compliance with project specifications and ensure customer satisfaction.
· Site review and troubleshooting of installation issues on site to ensure equipment is installed to specifications
· Record commissioning check lists, system settings, troubleshooting issues and resolution
· Travel to customer locations up to 95% including international travel to Canada and Mexico (passport required). Company provides vehicle (gas, maintenance, and insurance paid by company), per diem for food (lodging paid directly by company), and all equipment needed to perform job - laptop, cell phone, etc.

Qualifications:
· 5+ Years of experience in installation and troubleshooting of industrial machinery
· Strong mechanical aptitude & problem-solving skills.
· Proficiency in reading and interpreting 3D models, blueprints, P90s, schematics, and electrical prints.
· Strong written, oral communication and interpersonal skills.
· High attention to detail and follow-through skills.
· Willingness to travel (90-95%)
