Position Overview

There is a unique opportunity to get in at the ground floor of the growth of a technical sales team to support the industry's rapidly expanding interest in Aprisa, the Siemens Place & Route offering. Since the acquisition of the technology, Siemens has been investing heavily in research and development and winning key customer engagements to bring this exciting tool to market.

We're expanding our India-based field team to further develop an excellent, experienced, and established group tasked with bringing this tool to market, developing our talent to support it, and providing the foundation for expansion as we build on our success. You'll work closely with a highly dynamic team, innovating on business processes and filling critical gaps where needed. You can be part of this growth.

Key Responsibilities

Serve as the primary link between customers, the sales team, and R&D, providing expert technical guidance and support for Aprisa and Place & Route solutions
Conduct customer technical evaluations, benchmarking, and proof-of-concept engagements, demonstrating product capabilities and value
Collaborate across marketing, R&D, sales, technical support, and customer experience teams to address complex customer challenges and drive product adoption
Guide customers through RTL to GDS flows, floor planning, placement, clock tree synthesis, routing, signal and power integrity, and static timing analysis
Document technical findings, customer interactions, and project outcomes to ensure knowledge sharing and continuous improvement across the team
Travel to meet customers and colleagues as needed, balancing remote work flexibility with face-to-face engagement

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electronics and Communication, Computer Science, or VLSI Design.
Experience with Place & Route tools, IC design, or applications engineering.
Strong hands-on experience with Innovus, IC Compiler, Aprisa, and/or similar Place & Route tools.
Demonstrated expertise in RTL to GDS flows at advanced nodes, with experience in IC design tape-outs or P&R evaluations and benchmarking.
Expert-level proficiency in scripting languages (TCL, command-line Unix/Linux) and solid understanding of Verilog and UPF data formats.
Excellent communication skills and high emotional intelligence; ability to navigate complex technical and business discussions with diverse customers.
Customer-focused outlook balanced with business sense; proven ability to prioritize ROI-driven technical engagements.
