Snapdragon Ride aims to address the complexity of autonomous driving and ADAS by leveraging its high-performance, power-efficient SoC, industry-leading artificial intelligence (AI) technologies and pioneering vision and drive policy stack to deliver a comprehensive, cost and energy efficient systems solution.

We are seeking smart, innovative, and motivated individuals to join our ADAS software architect team. This role involves contributing to the development of our Advanced Driver Assist System Platform, which includes the Perception stack, Drive policy, and middleware. Candidates should have strong programming skills in C/C++ and be well-versed in Object-Oriented Design patterns. The selected candidate will be responsible for designing and developing ADAS features on the Qualcomm mixed critical Flex platform (Cockpit+ADAS) for a leading Indian car manufacturer, with the opportunity to work on advanced L2+ level ADAS technology

Principal Duties And Responsibilities

Feature Tuning & Optimization

Analyze vehicle data and logs to understand feature behavior
Tune feature parameters to meet safety and performance KPIs
Adapt feature performance for customer-specific use cases and environments
Support validation activities and performance improvements across scenarios


Fault analysis and resolution

Investigate issues observed in vehicle testing and customer environments
Perform structured root cause analysis across system layers
Identify gaps and propose fixes or mitigations
Coordinate with core development teams to resolve issues effectively


Customer & Project Support

Support troubleshooting during test events and integration phases
Clarify and align on customer requirements and expectations
Ensure timely tracking and resolution of customer-reported issues


Integration & system understanding

Support feature bring-up and integration on customer platforms
Analyze interactions between feature SW, sensors, and vehicle signals
Identify integration issues and contribute to system-level improvements


Data analysis & KPI tracking

Work with large datasets from vehicle testing and simulations
Track KPIs and identify trends, regressions, and performance gaps


Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 2+ years of Software Engineering or related work experience.


OR

Master's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 1+ year of Software Engineering or related work experience.

OR

PhD in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.

2+ years of academic or work experience with Programming Language such as C, C++, Java, Python, etc.
5 + years of experience in Feature Development in the ADAS/AD Area.
Advanced System and requirement engineering skills, with proven experience in defining solutions on system and SW levels.
Proven experience in C++ SW development
Knowledge about tools like git, Jenkins, and Gerrit.
Experience in perception, HD maps, or localization is a plus.
Knowledge about safety standards ISO26262 and SOTIF is a plus.
Fluency in English.
Experience with agile methodologies in a cross-functional team is a plus.
A mindset of challenging the status quo and finding creative ways to do things.
Driver licence.
Previous SW development experience for ADAS domain.
Service oriented communication (e.g SOME/IP).
Good knowledge and usage experience of Design patterns.
Coding Standards (e.g. MISRA for C++)
