Entry-Level Software Engineer | Remote

Position: Software Engineer, New Grad (Zara)
Type: Full-time
Compensation: $180K - $250K/yr
Location: Remote
Commitment: 10 40 hours/week

Role Responsibilities
Contribute to the development of fullstack systems and product features.
Build backend services and APIs with clean, maintainable code.
Develop user-facing interfaces and improve product functionality.
Support database design and data modeling for performance and scalability.
Collaborate with product and design teams to deliver features.
Participate in code reviews, testing, and engineering improvements.
Debug issues and help maintain reliable production systems.

Requirements
Recent graduate in Computer Science or a related field.
Strong fundamentals in JavaScript or TypeScript.
Familiarity with React and frontend development concepts.
Familiarity with Node.js and backend development.
Understanding of databases such as PostgreSQL and data modeling basics.
Knowledge of APIs and system communication principles.
Strong willingness to learn with attention to detail.
