What You Will Do
Lead design and coordination of roadway, drainage, and utility projects for our public and private clients
Collaborate with other groups/ disciplines within the company to deliver top quality projects and unparalleled service to our clients
Perform design calculations, quantity and cost estimates, and plan preparation
Compile, write, and edit quality technical reports, feasibility reports, letters, memos and specifications for projects
Assist with proposals, project budgets and schedules, planning activities, and public involvement and other presentation opportunities
Oversee the work of EITs or Technicians
Plan, direct, and coordinate project activities to ensure that projects are delivered within prescribed time frames and budgets
Regular communication with the client, project schedule and budget oversight and subconsultant coordination
What You Will Bring
Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or similar degree from an accredited school
4-10 years of experience in Transportation / Municipal engineering or related field
OK PE license or the ability to obtain their license within six months
Prepare, read and understand construction plans and technical documents and have a functional understanding of design software packages, preferably AutoCAD Civil 3D and / or Microstation, and HydroCAD.
Valid driver's license with a good driving record
Excellent communication skills and a strong work ethic will allow you to excel in this position
Ability to work 40 hours a week.
Ability to work in posted locations
Work is primarily performed in an office environment with standard office equipment, occasional travel or field visits may be required to support
