Engineer – Systems / Reliability / Quality (Manufacturing / Mechanical Equipment)

Duration: 12 months contract

Job Description:
We’re looking for engineers with experience working on large, complex equipment who enjoy solving system-level performance, reliability, and design challenges.
This role involves analysing critical subsystems, participating in technical discussions, and working closely with cross-functional teams to improve product reliability and performance.

Responsibilities:
Analyze and model critical subsystems to understand performance and failure behavior
Participate in root cause investigations (RCA) and technical problem-solving
Engage in design reviews and reliability planning discussions
Work with design and reliability teams to identify risks and drive improvements
Support failure analysis, testing, and validation activities
Collaborate across teams to improve manufacturing reliability and product robustness

Experience:
5-10 years of experience in Systems, Mechanical, Electrical, Materials Engineering, or related fields
Experience with large, complex equipment or multi-component systems
Strong understanding of failure analysis and root cause methodologies
Knowledge of failure physics and reliability fundamentals
Ability to engage in technical discussions and design reviews
Experience working with or alongside reliability and design teams
Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills

Skills:
Reliability tools such as ReliaSoft, BlockSim, or similar
Familiarity with Weibull analysis, reliability modelling, or statistical methods
Background in industries like semiconductor, aerospace, automotive, industrial equipment, or energy systems

Education:
Bachelor’s in Electrical, Mechanical, Physics, Materials, or related field
