Job Description
Skill: Mainframe Developer
Must Have Technical/Functional Skills
Analyze business requirements and translate them into mainframe technical designs.
Develop, test, and maintain applications using COBOL, JCL, VSAM, and DB2.
Perform enhancements, bug fixes, and production support for existing systems.
Work on batch and online (CICS) processing.
Debug and resolve abends and system issues in a timely manner.
Ensure data integrity and consistency across applications.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (testing, business analysts, distributed teams).
Participate in code reviews, documentation, and adherence to coding standards.
Support system integration across platforms (e.g., APIs, distributed systems).
Assist in migration, modernization, or system upgrade initiatives.
Roles & Responsibilities
Role Summary:
We are looking for a skilled Mainframe Developer to design, develop, maintain, and support enterprise applications running on mainframe systems.
The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in COBOL, JCL, DB2, and related mainframe technologies, with the ability to analyze business requirements and deliver efficient, scalable solutions.
Key Responsibilities
