Eden Tech is seeking various types of Engineers to engineer, build, install, maintain, operate, and troubleshoot our Reverse Osmosis Centrifuge. See below for the various role descriptions. Follow the steps and you will be automatically rerouted to our internal Job Board.
MECHANICAL ENGINEER
About the Role
Eden Tech is seeking two Mechanical Engineers with deep expertise in rotating machinery, structural analysis, vibratory analysis, CFD, and high-speed mechanical systems. These are foundational hires who will work directly on the design, analysis, simulation, and validation of our Reverse Osmosis Centrifuge — a safety-critical, high-RPM system operating under significant pressure and rotational loads. You will work closely with our engineering team throughout the pilot phase and into commercial scale-up.
What You Will Do
Lead structural and dynamic analysis of the ROC system, including vibration, fatigue, and containment design
Develop and run mechanical simulations (FEA, CFD, rotordynamics) to validate design assumptions
Analytically confirm the validity of simulation results
Design and iterate on high-speed rotating components including shafts, housings, bearings, seals, and pressure vessels
Support prototype builds and pilot deployments, resolving field mechanical issues
Collaborate with electrical and software engineers on system integration and control interfaces
Define test protocols, analyze test data, and drive design improvements based on results
Maintain design documentation, drawings, and engineering change records
What We Are Looking For
5+ years of hands-on experience with high-speed rotating machinery such as centrifuges, turbomachinery, pumps, compressors, or flywheels
Strong background in rotordynamics, vibration analysis, fatigue design, and containment
Proficiency with FEA and simulation tools (ANSYS, SolidWorks Simulation, or equivalent)
Experience with pressure vessel design and relevant codes (ASME or equivalent)
Comfortable working in a startup environment with hands-on prototype involvement
BS or MS in Mechanical Engineering; advanced degree preferred
Priority given to candidates with a PE license
Nice to Have
Experience in oil and gas, water treatment, or desalination applications
Familiarity with membrane separation or filtration systems
Experience designing for harsh or field-deployed environments
ELECTRICAL ENGINEER
About the Role
Eden Tech is seeking an Electrical Engineer to build, install, maintain, operate, and troubleshoot the electronics, power systems, and instrumentation architecture of our Reverse Osmosis Centrifuge. This is a hands-on role requiring competent experience with industrial power electronics, motor drive systems, sensor integration, and wiring in demanding physical environments. You will design, build, and validate the electrical systems that make the ROC operate safely and reliably in the field.
What You Will Do
Design and integrate control electronics, power electronics, and motor drive systems for the ROC
Develop PCB layouts and schematics for signal conditioning, sensor interfaces, and safety circuits
Select and integrate VFDs, motor controllers, sensors, and instrumentation for high-speed rotating equipment
Design wiring harnesses, grounding schemes, and EMI/noise mitigation strategies for harsh industrial environments
Support prototype builds and pilot deployments with hands-on electrical assembly and troubleshooting
Define and execute electrical test plans; document results and drive design improvements
Ensure designs meet relevant safety and regulatory standards
What We Are Looking For
5+ years of experience in industrial electronics, power electronics, or controls engineering
Hands-on experience with PCB design (schematic capture and layout)
Familiarity with VFDs, motor controllers, and high-current power electronics
Strong understanding of EMI/noise mitigation, grounding, and signal conditioning
Experience designing for harsh operating environments (vibration, temperature extremes, dust, moisture)
Comfortable working across the full stack from circuit design to field installation
BS in Electrical Engineering or Associates Degree in related field required
Nice to Have
Background in defense, avionics, or aerospace electronics (MIL-SPEC experience a strong plus)
Experience with rotating equipment or industrial machinery
Familiarity with oil and gas or water treatment applications
MECHANICAL TEST TECHNICIAN
About the Role
Eden Tech is seeking a hands-on Mechanical Test Technician to support the assembly, testing, and maintenance of our Reverse Osmosis Centrifuge systems. This role is integral to our 2026 pilot program. You will work side by side with engineers to build prototype and pilot units, troubleshoot mechanical and systems issues, and maintain safe operation of high-speed rotating equipment, pressure systems, and fluid handling components.
What You Will Do
Assemble and inspect prototype and pilot ROC units following engineering drawings and work instructions.
Install mechanical components, route tubing and wiring, and support instrumentation setup.
Perform pre-test inspections and document system readiness.
Operate and monitor test equipment including pumps, valves, pressure systems, and motors.
Troubleshoot mechanical, fluid, and electrical issues during testing and field deployment
Maintain detailed records of assembly, inspections, anomalies, and test results
Support continuous improvement of emerging build and test issues with the engineering team.
What We Are Looking For
5+ years of hands-on mechanical or systems technician experience
A&P certification or equivalent experience with safety-critical mechanical systems strongly preferred
Comfortable working with rotating equipment, pressure vessels, pumps, and fluid systems
Strong mechanical judgment and disciplined inspection habits
Ability to read mechanical drawings, schematics, and assembly documentation
Comfortable in a fast-paced startup environment where priorities shift and problem-solving is constant
Nice to Have
Aviation MRO or defense maintenance background
Experience with precision assemblies and torque-critical fastener installations
Familiarity with data acquisition or instrumentation systems
