About The Role
As a Mechanical Engineer, you will perform design drawings and calculations. You will apply the ASME Code to the design and analysis of primary equipment components (Steam generator, PRHR, and Pressurizer, Accumulation Tank, Core-makeup tank).You will author deviation and non-conformance reports to support fabricators of Primary Equipment.
You will report to the Manager, Component Design and Management Programs, and be located at the Cranberry Township, PA headquarters. The role is Hybrid.
Key Responsibilities
Evaluate nuclear power plant components using Finite Element Analysis (FEA).
Support larger generic projects that are developing the industry guidance and requirements for safe long-term operation of nuclear power plant primary equipment components.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering
We are committed to transparency and equity in all of our people practices. The base salary range for this position, which is dependent upon experience, qualifications and skills, is estimated to be $58,400 to $73,000 per year.
