We’re currently looking for an experienced Energy Engineer / Project Development Engineer to join a growing team delivering complex turnkey energy infrastructure projects across New Jersey.
This is a high-impact role focused on developing real-world Energy Conservation Measures (ECMs) that actually get funded, built, and implemented - not just audits that sit on a shelf. Projects typically involve a mix of HVAC, central plant, controls/BMS, lighting, electrification, mechanical upgrades, and broader infrastructure improvements designed to create measurable operational and financial savings for clients.
The ideal background is a Mechanical or Electrical Engineer with experience assessing commercial, institutional, industrial, healthcare, higher-ed, or public-sector facilities and developing technically sound, financially viable efficiency solutions.
Experience within ESCO, performance contracting, energy services, or turnkey project environments is highly attractive.
You’ll work closely with clients, operations, engineering, construction, and leadership teams to help shape and develop large-scale projects from assessment and energy analysis through to implementation strategy and client presentation.
Strong opportunity for someone who enjoys the consultative/project development side of energy engineering and wants to work on meaningful infrastructure projects that genuinely improve facilities, reduce energy usage, and create long-term client value.
