Position Overview:
As an EMC Test Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in evaluating electronic products for electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) at our client's Austin Test Facility. We are looking to bring onboard test engineers with specific testing experience for commercial products. You will work closely with a team of experts to conduct EMC testing, analyse results, and ensure products comply with relevant international standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform EMC testing, including emissions (EMI) and immunity (EMS) assessments, on a variety of electronic products.
Develop and execute test plans in accordance with IEC 60335, 62368 and 61000 - 4 series
Analyze test data, identify non-conformities, and provide recommendations for corrective actions.
Prepare detailed test reports and documentation for clients and regulatory bodies.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support product development and compliance strategies.
Maintain and calibrate testing equipment to ensure accuracy and reliability.
Stay updated on the latest EMC standards and testing methodologies.
Qualifications:
Experienced Candidates:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or a related field.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in EMC testing and compliance.
Experience working with either IEC 60335, 62368, 61000 - 4 series
Experience with test equipment and software used in EMC testing.
