Job Title: Embedded Systems Support Engineer
Location: San Jose, CA (On-Site)
Duration: 12+ Months (Possible Extension)
Job Description:
We are looking for an Embedded Systems Engineer to support Embedded (Xilinx) team, working on next-generation automotive, robotics, and AI reference platforms. This is a hands-on role that combines embedded platform validation with hardware lab operations and logistics.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform system-level testing on embedded hardware platforms by installing software builds, executing test cases, validating results, and reporting issues.
Work with embedded Linux, ARM-based SoCs, FPGAs, and serial/Ethernet interfaces to support platform validation.
Assemble, configure, and sanity-test hardware kits for engineering and customer use.
Manage hardware inventory, shipments, stock, and import/export coordination.
Collaborate with global engineering, OEM, and account teams to support testing and hardware readiness.
Required Skills:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
Experience with embedded systems, embedded Linux, ARM platforms, or FPGA-based hardware.
Understanding of embedded hardware/software integration and system-level debugging.
Knowledge of Python, C, or C++ is preferred.
Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, hands-on lab environment.
