Job Summary
As an Embedded Systems Engineer, you will work on the design and development of embedded hardware and firmware for critical monitoring equipment. You'll be part of a multidisciplinary team focused on creating reliable, standards-compliant, and field-ready solutions.

Key Responsibilities
Design embedded hardware systems (digital and analog), including schematics and PCB layout using Fusion (Eagle)
Develop firmware in C, compliant with MISRA C standards
Architect embedded systems for safety-critical applications
Work with microcontroller-based hardware and sensor interfacing
Apply digital signal processing (DSP) techniques to real-world sensor signals
Implement And Debug Industrial Communication Protocols Including
Ethernet
RS-232 / RS-422 / RS-485
Modbus RTU/TCP
CAN bus
Perform hardware debugging and troubleshooting using oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and diagnostic tools
Ensure designs comply with functional safety standards such as IEC 61508
Produce high-quality documentation, including design specifications, test procedures, and compliance reports
Collaborate with firmware, hardware, and mechanical engineers throughout the entire product development lifecycle

Qualifications
Required:
Bachelors or Masters degree in Electronics, or Electrical Engineering
48 years of professional experience in embedded system design
Strong skills in analog and digital circuit design
Proven experience designing microcontroller-based hardware systems
Proficient in Eagle PCB design software
Strong programming skills in C, with adherence to MISRA standards
Experience with digital signal processing (DSP)
Familiarity with industrial protocols: RS-232, RS-422, RS-485, CAN, Ethernet, Modbus RTU/TCP
Knowledge of functional safety standards (IEC 61508 or equivalent)
Excellent hardware debugging and problem-solving skills
Strong technical documentation and communication skills
Nice To Have
Experience with gas sensors or safety-critical equipment
Understanding of EMC/EMI considerations
Familiarity with wireless protocols (BLE, LoRa, Wi-Fi)
Experience with scripting tools (e.g., Python or MATLAB)
