ABOUT NOVUS HI-TECH
Novus Hi-Tech Robotic Systemz Pvt. Ltd. designs and delivers advanced driver-assistance, robotics, and connected-device solutions across four business units: ADAS, ADAS Aftermarket, Mobile Robotics, and Defence Robotics. The ADAS business builds embedded firmware and sensor-fusion software that runs directly on automotive-grade hardware powering Electronic Control Units (ECUs) that support perception, driver-assistance, and safety functions across vehicle platforms.

ROLE SUMMARY
We're looking for an Embedded Firmware Engineer to join our ADAS team, writing and testing C/C++ firmware that runs directly on automotive-grade ECUs. This is a hands-on individual-contributor role for an engineer who enjoys working close to the hardware debugging at the driver level, working with sensor data, and helping build reliable, safety-critical software. You'll work closely with senior engineers and Engineering Manager, contributing to sensor-fusion and perception modules while growing your expertise in AUTOSAR, RTOS, and automotive-grade development practices.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Design, develop, and test embedded firmware in C/C++ for ADAS-related Electronic Control Units (ECUs).
Contribute to sensor-fusion and perception software modules, working with data from radar, camera, LiDAR, or ultrasonic sensors.
Write and maintain firmware aligned with AUTOSAR architecture and automotive coding standards.
Debug and resolve low-level issues involving RTOS, device drivers, and communication protocols (CAN, LIN, Ethernet, SPI, and I2C).
Participate in code reviews, unit testing, static analysis, and CI/CD practices to maintain firmware quality.
Support integration and validation activities with hardware, systems, and testing teams.
Follow MISRA C/C++ coding guidelines and contribute to functional-safety-compliant (ISO 26262) development practices.
Document design decisions, test results, and known issues clearly for the wider engineering team.
Collaborate with senior engineers and managers on sprint planning, estimates, and technical trade-offs.

REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
2–3 years of hands-on embedded software development experience.
Strong programming skills in C/C++ for embedded, real-time systems; experience on radar application development is preferred.
Working knowledge of microcontroller/SoC-based firmware development for automotive or similarly safety-critical domains.
Understanding of RTOS concepts and real-time system design.
Exposure to automotive communication protocols such as CAN, LIN, SPI, or I2C.
Familiarity with embedded debugging tools such as JTAG, emulators, and oscilloscopes/logic analyzers.
Basic understanding of AUTOSAR concepts and MISRA C/C++ coding practices is a plus.
Good analytical and debugging skills, with attention to detail in safety-critical code.
Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional engineering environment.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Prior experience with radar, camera, or other ADAS sensor applications.
Exposure to functional safety standards (ISO 26262) or automotive cybersecurity practices (ISO 21434).
Familiarity with version control (Git), CI/CD pipelines, and static analysis tools.
Coursework or project experience involving sensor fusion, signal processing, or embedded Linux.
