The Electronics Test Development Engineer is responsible for designing, building, and
maintaining automated test stations. This role bridges R&D and manufacturing by
developing the test infrastructure required to validate new electronic/RF hardware designs
and ensure quality during high-volume production.

Key Responsibilities
Test Architecture: Design and develop automated test equipment (ATE), test fixtures, and complex electronic systems.
• Test Automation: Write, debug, and maintain automated test software using LabVIEW 2020-2026. Familiarity with LabVIEW PPL’s and distributed runtime engines. Must know or have the ability to learn various LabVIEW implementations.
• Hardware Design: Create custom test interfaces, develop rack-based test stations.
• Validation & Debug: Collaborate with Engineers and Technicians to define test plans, perform root-cause failure analysis, and validate hardware functionality.
• Yield Optimization: Analyze test data and statistical yield metrics to optimize test coverage and reduce overall test time in manufacturing.
• Documentation: Author standard operating procedures (SOPs), test coverage reports, and Design-for-Test (DFT) guidelines.

Qualifications & Skills
• Education: Bachelor’s in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field with proven relevant experience.
• Programming: Five years of LabVIEW 2020 – 2026 experience for test development
and instrument automation. Plus – if experienced in Actor Framework and/or Python 3.1 or later.
• Lab Equipment: Hands-on experience with rack-based test instruments such as: RF Switches, oscilloscopes, digital multimeters (DMMs), logic analyzers, spectrum analyzers, and power supplies.
• Hardware Skills: Experience with schematics and basic board troubleshooting.
• Problem Solving: Strong fault-finding skills with the ability to perform root-cause analysis on analog, digital, or mixed-signal circuits and rack-based instruments.
• Industry Knowledge: DFT methodologies, ATE platforms, and regulatory
compliance testing
