Summary:

This role is ideal for an early-career Electrical Engineer with a passion for analog and digital electronics, embedded systems, and hands-on hardware development. As an Electronics Engineer, you will support the design, integration, testing, troubleshooting, production, and sustainment of advanced underwater maritime electrical and electromechanical systems. The ideal candidate enjoys working in an R&D environment, solving complex engineering problems, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams on cutting-edge defense technologies.
What You'll Do:

Design, integrate, test, and troubleshoot electrical and electromechanical systems.
Design, procure, assemble, and validate custom analog and digital printed circuit boards (PCBs).
Develop and debug electronics involving analog circuits, digital logic, ADCs, microcontrollers, DC/DC converters, and embedded processors.
Support system integration, laboratory testing, and hardware validation activities.
Troubleshoot PCB assemblies, wiring, cables, sensors, grounding, and electrical noise issues.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams throughout product development.
Support field exercises and occasional travel for system testing.
Prepare engineering documentation, BOMs, and technical reports.
Experience You'll Need:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering with a concentration in Microelectronics.
Strong foundation in analog and digital circuit design.
Experience designing, integrating, and troubleshooting electronic assemblies through internships, research, or professional experience.
Proficiency using oscilloscopes, digital multimeters, function generators, and other laboratory test equipment.
Experience with embedded processors, ADCs, digital communications protocols (SPI, I2C, RS232, RS422, etc.).
Basic Linux and MATLAB proficiency.
Experience designing custom PCBs from concept through implementation.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Ability to obtain a U.S. Department of Defense Security Clearance.
Preferred Qualifications:
M.S. in Electrical Engineering.
1–3 years of electronics design experience.
Altium Designer experience.
LTSpice circuit simulation.
C/C++ or Python programming.
National Instruments DAQ and LabVIEW.
Electronics assembly, soldering, wiring, and crimping experience.
