We can offer a competitive salary range of $130,000–$150,000, depending on factors such as experience, education, location, and discipline. Other benefits package may include health and vision insurance; life insurance; a 401(k) plan and paid time off.
You need to be able to work onsite 4 days per week for this role.
About the Role
We are looking for a highly motivated, creative, and innovative Electronics Design Engineer to join our partners team in Cambridge, MA. This role is ideal for someone with a strong passion for innovative hardware development. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and developing new hardware solutions, being part of a talented engineering department.
Key Responsibilities
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Developing a strong understanding of product hardware architecture
Contributing across all phases of the hardware product development lifecycle, including requirements, architecture, design, implementation, and verification
Supporting hardware development activities carried out by outsourced partners
Proposing innovative ideas to enhance hardware products and improve development processes
Collaborating effectively within a diverse team while also working independently
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Electronic Engineering (or equivalent)
4+ years of hardware design experience in industries such as communications, or robotics
Proven experience designing embedded analog and digital modules
Strong background in PCB design, signal integrity analysis, and layout best practices
Hands-on experience with diagnostics, debugging, and troubleshooting using standard lab equipment
Knowledge of full product development processes, including Design for Test (DFT), Design for Manufacturability (DFM), environmental considerations, EMI/EMC, and product qualification testing
Familiarity with formal hardware development processes
Strong written and verbal communication skills, including technical documentation
Self-motivated, organised, and capable of managing multiple tasks while collaborating across teams
Preferred Qualifications
Experience designing wireless, IoT or low power devices
Familiarity with lean or agile development methodologies
Experience working with offshore teams, outsourcing partners, or third-party vendors
