Electronics Engineer III – PCB Layout
Location: Irvine, CA
Duration: 12-Month Contract (Potential Extension/Conversion)
Pay Rate: $65/hour

Join an innovative engineering team developing next-generation high-performance hardware products. We are seeking an experienced PCB Layout Engineer who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys solving complex design challenges while collaborating with global engineering teams.

What You'll Do
Design complex rigid and rigid-flex PCB layouts from schematic netlist through manufacturing release.
Develop high-speed designs involving DDR, PCIe, NAND, and other advanced interfaces.
Generate manufacturing deliverables including ODB++ and Gerber files.
Partner with Mechanical, SI/PI, Thermal, and Manufacturing teams throughout the design process.
Work directly with fabrication vendors to resolve DFM and manufacturing issues.
Contribute to best practices, innovative design methodologies, and continuous process improvements.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related field.
5+ years of PCB Layout experience.
Strong proficiency with Cadence Allegro PCB Designer.
Experience with high-speed digital routing, including DDR, PCIe, and NAND interfaces.
Knowledge of multilayer PCB technologies, microvias, blind/buried vias, and rigid-flex designs.
Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a global engineering organization.
Preferred
Experience with System Capture and EDM libraries.
Background supporting enterprise hardware, storage, networking, or semiconductor products.
