An exciting growing Technology Leading Engineering Company located in Long Beach, California (USA) who specialize in the Aerospace, Aviation & Aviation Industry are hiring for a brand new Electrical Engineer to join the growing team and business and to be working on cutting edge technologies. It would be a bonus if the Electrical Engineer has present or prior experience in Avionics, Aerospace, Defense, VTOL.
Salary on offer:
The annual salary on offer for the successful Electrical Engineer is $100,000 - $160,000 per annum.
Summary of the Electrical Engineering Role:
The successful Electrical Engineer will take ownership to design, build and flight testing for the company’s amazing autonomous aircraft.
Electrical Engineer Key Skills:
Education – Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical, Computer, Aerospace, Robotics Engineering
2-5+ years industry professional experience
Electronics Circuit Design (analogue & digital)
PCB Design & Schematic Capture
Experience of using Altium Designer, Allegro, OrCAD or similar
Embedded C, C++, Python
Network interfaces – SPI, I2C, USB, UART, RS232/485, Ethernet, DDR4
Knowledge/experience of FPGA Design – VHDL, Verilog, SystemVerilog
Experience with EMI/EMC compliance design and testing
Practical skills - Prototype (circuit) design, testing, soldering, troubleshooting, debugging electronics
Circuit Simulation Tools – LTSpice, SIMETRIX, MATLAB
Experience in Avionics, Space, Defense, VTOL, Unmanned Systems
Strong problem solving skills, innovative, communication and team-work skills
