Job Summary
As an Electrical Lead Engineer, you will lead the design and delivery of electrical and electro‑mechanical subsystems for wafer fabrication equipment, with a primary focus on fluid delivery systems and process modules for WETS Deposition products. The role provides technical leadership across system architecture, electrical integration, and cross‑functional collaboration to deliver robust, manufacturable, and serviceable solutions.
Job Responsibilities
Develop Functional Requirement Specifications for various Electro-Mechanical systems.
Selection of Electrical & Electronics OEM components and materials for Power distribution, I/O Controllers, Sensors, Cables, PCBs etc.
Create and Release system level Electrical engineering drawings & bill of materials using Engineering Change Management process.
Work on Electrical/Electronic engineering CAD tools for circuit design & simulations.
Perform various circuit analyses like De-rating & Stress analysis, Power analysis & Logic compatibility analysis etc.
Define project schedule, work breakdown structure and milestones to drive concept to production lifecycle.
Study and recommend corrective/ permanent solutions for technical challenges/new products.
Define test procedures, and participate in assembly, build and test verification
Well versed with Part life cycle management, Obsolescence management activities.
Conduct and drive Design reviews to get buy-in from all cross functional teams.
Provide technical guidance and mentoring to junior engineers.
Minimum Qualifications
Education: B.E. / B.Tech / M.E. / M.Tech in Electrical Engineering
Experience: Bachelors in Electrical/Electronics Engineering with a minimum 8 exp. or Masters in Electrical Engineering with a minimum 6 Yrs Exp.
Core Competencies
Proficient in system level understanding of Electro-Mechanical Sub-systems (Semi-conductor/Automotive/Aerospace), Power Distribution/Control systems and/or Industrial Automation.
Proficient in Electrical/Electronic Circuit concept design & development with safety interlocks & various circuit analyses. (Circuit analyses include De-rating & Stress analysis, Power analysis & Logic compatibility analysis etc.)
Proficient in selecting Electrical/Electronic OEM components.
Expert level knowledge of Engineering change management & problem-solving skills
Must have worked on any one of electrical engineering CAD tools like PCAD, ORCAD, ZUKEN, Cadence or equivalent CAD packages for circuit design & simulation.
Familiar with standards like - UL 508, IEC 60947, SEMI S22, NFPA79.
Desirable Competencies
Experience in Semiconductor Wafer Fab Equipment (WFE) domain.
Experience in capital equipment or similar (for e.g., Semiconductor, Process industries, medical instrumentation, Automotive, Aerospace, etc.) industry in a sub-system / module design project.
Experience in setting up equipment for experimentation / testing in laboratory environment, setting up safe practices.
Good Communication skills and able to mentor junior engineers.
