We are currently searching for an Electrical Engineer – Test Systems Design (LabVIEW) to support our client in Tucson, AZ for a direct hire position. This is an on-site position, and the selected person will need to work on-site.

The Electrical Engineer – Test Systems Design will join a high-performing engineering team supporting advanced defense and aerospace programs. This role focuses on the design, integration, development, and support of sophisticated factory and laboratory test systems used to validate complex electronic hardware.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong electrical engineering background with experience in test instrumentation, system-level design, hardware troubleshooting, and automated test solutions. Experience with LabVIEW and automated test system development is highly desired.

Responsibilities:
Design, develop, integrate, and support electrical test systems for engineering and production environments.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to coordinate electrical engineering design and integration activities.
Perform subsystem and system-level analog, digital, and RF design activities.
Develop and maintain test architectures, interface adapters, interconnect solutions, and associated documentation.
Create and interpret electrical schematics, technical drawings, wiring diagrams, and test documentation.
Troubleshoot hardware, test equipment, and instrumentation issues in laboratory and factory environments.
Support the integration and validation of automated test equipment (ATE) and production test platforms.
Analyze system performance and implement improvements to increase test efficiency and reliability.
Work closely with software, systems, manufacturing, and quality engineering teams throughout the product lifecycle.

Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and 5+ years of relevant experience, OR Advanced Degree and 3+ years of relevant experience.
Required Technical Experience
Experience with factory and laboratory test instrumentation, including: Oscilloscopes, Power Supplies, Digital Multimeters (DMMs), Network Analyzers, Other electronic test equipment
Ability to read, interpret, and troubleshoot: Electrical drawings, Schematics and Test equipment instrumentation
Experience performing: Analog design, Digital design, RF design and Subsystem and system-level engineering activities
Experience using electrical engineering design and analysis tools such as: Creo Schematic or Altium Designer
Working knowledge of software and communications technologies, including: C/C++, C#, Ethernet and CAN Bus
Ability to read and follow software code for engineering troubleshooting and integration purposes.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience developing automated test solutions using: LabVIEW, SCPI command-based instrument control or Similar automated test software platforms
Experience designing and integrating: Engineering test systems, Production test systems and Analog, Digital, Mixed-Signal, and RF test environments
