As an Electrical Engineer – Optimus Hardware and Systems, for the Tesla-bot program you will be responsible for developing novel concepts for power and communication transfer within the Tesla Bot. The technologies you create will be the building blocks for electrical distribution for the world’s first mass production bi-pedal humanoid robot.
What You'll Do
Start-to-finish hardware definition and design support: Specification, architecture, design, simulation, schematic, layout supervision, manufacturing, bringup, and validation of circuit boards
Collaborate with firmware, mechanical, robot and motor controls, PCB layout, EMC, and validation teams on the design of world leading robotic electrical hardware
Thoroughly document design requirements, calculations, validation results, etc.
Rapidly iterate as design requirements and product features mature over time
Design for manufacturing, design for test and design for EMC
Support supplier launch activities and vet quality control systems
Own electrical architecture and distribution for all LV systems on the bot
What You'll Bring
