Job Summary
We are seeking a hands-on Electrical Engineer for the development, integration, characterization, and troubleshooting of subsystem-level electrical testers. This role is highly technical and execution-focused, with a strong emphasis on practical hardware engineering.
The ideal candidate should have 4 8 years of recent hands-on experience in designing and building electronics and semi-automated test systems, integrating hardware/software, and debugging complex electrical issues.
Key Responsibilities
Tester Development & Integration
Design, build, and maintain subsystem characterization testers:
Power distribution and protection
Signal conditioning and measurement
Control, interlocks, and safety circuits
Develop custom test hardware (fixtures, wiring harnesses, test jigs)
Integrate testers with:
Mechanical fixtures
Sensors, actuators, power electronics, embedded systems
Lab and production environments
Electrical Characterization & Debugging
Perform subsystem electrical characterization:
Voltage/current measurements
Signal integrity and timing analysis
Noise and grounding
Troubleshoot issues in:
Analog and digital electronics
Power supplies, converters, motor drives
Communication interfaces (I C, SPI, UART, CAN, Ethernet, USB)
Hands-On Lab Execution
Execute testing in lab environments:
Bring-up of testers and subsystems
Debug under schedule pressure
Support verification and troubleshooting
Use lab equipment:
Oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, DMMs, power analyzers
Environmental and stress testing setups
Required Qualifications
Bachelor s degree in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or related field
4 8 years of hands-on experience in:
Test system development
Subsystem-level electrical integration & characterization
Experience in:
Analog & digital circuit design/debugging
Power electronics (low-voltage/high-current systems)
Strong troubleshooting skills using lab tools
Experience across full lifecycle: concept build bring-up support
Strongly Preferred
Embedded subsystems
Motion control systems
Sensor & transducer technologies
Power distribution systems
Communication protocols (CAN, Ethernet, RS-232, RS-485)
Preferred Qualifications
Medical device experience
Familiarity with industry standards
Exposure to PLM tools and change management
EMI/EMC knowledge in harness design

NX Routing (3D harness design)
Component selection & validation
