Electrical Engineer – Embedded Systems (Hybrid, Lancaster PA)
We’re hiring an Electrical Engineer to help design and develop embedded electrical systems for new hardware platforms. You’ll work across the full product lifecycle — architecture, circuit design, verification, release, and manufacturing support — in a fast‑moving, collaborative engineering environment.
What you’ll do:
• Design and validate embedded electrical subsystems
• Own schematics, PCB layouts, power circuits, and communication interfaces
• Perform tolerance analysis, derating, EMC debugging, and risk assessments
• Support component lifecycle, cost‑down efforts, and field investigations
• Partner with global teams and mentor junior engineers
• Assist manufacturing with test strategies and troubleshooting
What you bring:
• BS in Electrical Engineering
• 5+ years designing and testing embedded electrical systems
• Strong experience with analog/digital circuits, DC power, and PCB design
• Familiarity with SPI, I2C, UART, CAN, USB, microprocessor‑based systems
• Hands‑on lab skills (oscilloscope, logic analyzer, DMM, etc.)
• Clear communication and cross‑functional collaboration skills
Bonus skills:
High‑speed PCB design, signal/power integrity, motor control, Python/C++ for test, Linux, Agile hardware development, global compliance experience.
Details:
Hybrid role (3 days onsite). Must be within commuting distance to Lancaster, PA. ~10% travel.
