Job Title: Electrical Engineer - Connectivity and Embedded Design Focused
Job Location: Atlanta, GA/ Onsite (5 days a week, standard hours)
Project Duration: 6-18 months with possible extension
Interview Mode: 2 rounds of interviews: Phone pre-screen & Onsite
(Local Preferred but open for non-local candidates who can relocate at their own)
W2 Position
Must Have Skills:
Circuit board assembly and testing.
Component verification testing experience, Board-Level testing, and System level testing.
Communication interfaces such as Serial, USB, SPI, I2C and CAN.
Familiarity with C, C++, C#, or Python for test firmware.
Experience: 5+ Years
Job Summary
We’re looking for a hands-on Electrical / Embedded Engineer to join an Electronics Subsystems Group focused on the design, validation, and production of electrical systems, circuit boards, and displays for advanced dispenser products.
Key Responsibilities
• Design, specify, test, validate, and release embedded circuit board designs.
• Work cross-functionally with Hardware, Firmware, Software, Manufacturing, and Procurement teams.
• Support hardware/software architecture and understand development dependencies.
• Improve product quality, cost, reliability, and manufacturability.
• Apply DFx best practices for PCB assembly and testing.
• Support the full electronics lifecycle from requirements and design through testing, manufacturing, and sustaining.
Must Have
• BS in Electrical/Electronics Engineering or equivalent relevant experience.
• Experience with microcontroller circuit design and interfaces such as Serial, USB, SPI, I2C, and CAN.
• Experience with component lifecycle/EOL management, alternate components, supply-chain risks, and verification testing.
• Ability to work with Firmware/Software teams on drivers and feature requirements.
• Experience developing component specifications and test plans.
• Experience with Silicon Expert, IHS, or similar BOM/component lifecycle tools.
Preferred (Nice to Have but Not Mandatory):
• Altium Designer
• Cable harness design and component selection
• C/C++/C#/Python for test firmware
• FCC, ETSI, UL, CE regulatory knowledge
• Windchill PLM
• Wireless connectivity: Thread, Matter, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi (Not Mandatory)
