Electrical Engineer

Our client is a well-established multi-discipline engineering consulting firm. They're looking to add an Electrical Power Engineer to their team in a fully remote capacity.

This is a design-heavy role. You'll own the electrical scope on industrial plant projects — producing power distribution designs, running power system studies, and interfacing directly with clients as the engineer of record. Projects span heavy manufacturing, chemical processing, and industrial facility clients.

What the role covers:
Design of high, medium, and low voltage power distribution systems for industrial and manufacturing clients
Protective relay design and protective device coordination
Arc flash, short circuit, and load flow studies
Single line diagram development and construction document packages • Industrial lighting design
Direct client communication as the electrical engineer on the project

What they're looking for:
Active PE license — required at time of hire, non-negotiable
7+ years of electrical power systems design experience in industrial or manufacturing environments
Proficiency in SKM PowerTools or ETAP (EasyPower considered)
BSEE or BSET
Comfortable working independently in a fully remote environment during standard M–F business hours
Eastern or Central Time Zone preferred

Compensation: $115,000–$135,000 depending on experience
