Electrical Engineer
The Opportunity
We’re working with a well-funded, growing aerospace & defence business developing next-generation electromechanical actuation and motion-control systems.
The company is developing technology for the next generation of Industrial, Aerospace and Defense applications and is expanding its engineering team as it continues to grow.
This is a hands-on opportunity for an Electrical Engineer to work across the full product lifecycle, from initial requirements and component selection through to PCB design, manufacturing and testing.
What you’ll be doing
Electrical design, circuit analysis, component selection and schematic capture
PCB design and layout using Altium
Creating documentation and work instructions for manufacturing and testing
Selecting and evaluating instrumentation, including temperature, pressure and position sensors
Developing and executing design verification tests
Reviewing test data and recommending improvements to products and processes
Working closely with other engineering disciplines throughout the product development process
Supporting the growth of the wider engineering team
What we’re looking for
3+ years of electrical hardware design experience
Experience with schematic capture and PCB layout
Strong understanding of circuit design fundamentals and electrical engineering principles
Experience with Altium or a similar PCB design tool
Hands-on experience with electronic lab equipment such as oscilloscopes, DMMs, power supplies and signal generators
Experience creating and executing design verification test plans
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or a related discipline
We’re particularly interested in engineers who enjoy being hands-on and want the opportunity to see their designs progress from concept through to testing and production.
What’s on offer
$120,000–$140,000 base salary + equity
Medical insurance 100% covered by the company
Flexible PTO
401(k)
Relocation support available
Opportunity to work on next-generation aerospace & defence technology
Growing engineering team with plenty of scope to make an impact
U.S. Citizens or U.S. Permanent Residents (Green Card holders) only, due to customer and regulatory requirements.
