Qualifications:
BSEE/MSEE
Medical Device (Class II wearable) highly preferred
Understanding of ISO 13485 requirements
Experience with Digital circuit designs
Low power microcontrollers
Schematic capture
PCB layout and debugging (Altium)
Board Bring up and troubleshooting
Experience with BLE a plus
Ideal candidate would also have high volume consumer electronic experience ( anyone that comes from a design firm would be a plus)
Strong Documentation
Experience in a Lead/Mentorship role
Responsibilities:
Design and optimize digital circuits, ensuring high performance in a compact, battery-powered wearable form factor
Board-level designs, from initial schematic capture and component selection to PCB layout and prototyping
Lead the bring-up and debugging of complex PCBA designs. You should be an expert with oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and spectrum analyzers
Navigate the complexities of Class II medical device standards (IEC 60601). You will be responsible for maintaining rigorous documentation to support FDA filings
Work closely with firmware, mechanical, and industrial design teams
