We are hiring an Principle Electrical Engineer to support a growing portfolio of complex, low-volume aerospace electronic products. This role is ideal for designers who enjoy variety, problem-solving, and working closely with engineers to translate electrical intent into high-quality PCB layouts released into manufacturing.
Designers in this role are expected to do more than place and route- they will apply judgment, make informed decisions, and grow in technical ownership over time within a dynamic engineering environment.
Contract opportunities are also a possibility.

Responsibilities of the Electrical Engineer PCB Designer:
Create, develop, and release PCB layouts and supporting documentation into manufacturing.
Collaborate closely with Electrical, Mechanical, and Manufacturing Engineering to capture design intent and constraints.
Design PCB layouts that meet electrical, mechanical, EMC, manufacturing, and cost requirements.
Participate in design reviews (Electrical, EMC, Manufacturing).
Support library symbol and footprint creation as needed.
Independently manage intermediate to advanced-level layout work with increasing technical ownership.

Required Skills & Experience of the Electrical Engineer PCB Designer:
OrCAD / Cadence PCB Layout Pro experience required.
Targeting 5–10 years of experience (10+ years considered with flexibility on exact tool background).
Experience designing boards up to 400V (not grid-level power).
Familiarity with library symbols and footprints (secondary to layout expertise).
Strong ability to interpret schematics, datasheets, and engineering constraints.
