The Company
A specialist engineering organisation operating in the marine technology sector, developing high-performance sensing and electronic systems used in demanding real-world environments. The business focuses on technically complex, reliability-driven products with strong emphasis on long-term performance, sustainment, and continuous product improvement.

The Role
This is a hands-on electrical engineering role focused on sustaining and improving complex mixed-signal electronic systems across their full lifecycle. You will be involved in design updates, system integration, troubleshooting, and validation activities, working closely with production and engineering teams to ensure robust and reliable product performance. The role spans both development and sustainment engineering within a highly technical, hardware-focused environment.

What You Will Work On
Support and refine existing electrical and electronic system designs based on field and production feedback
Develop updates to schematics and system-level electrical designs
Define and maintain electrical interfaces and system documentation (ICDs)
Lead system-level troubleshooting and root cause analysis across hardware issues
Support prototype builds, production introduction, and ongoing manufacturing support
Own system-level test planning, verification, and validation activities (FAT / SAT / V&V)
Support EMI/EMC, grounding, and noise performance considerations in design and testing
Assist with integration of systems across mechanical and software teams

What We Are Looking For
Degree in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent)
Experience with PCB design tools (e.g. Altium or equivalent)
Strong analogue and mixed-signal electronics experience
Background in power electronics or low-noise circuit design
Hands-on hardware debugging and system integration experience
Familiarity with embedded systems and industrial communication protocols
Understanding of EMC principles and noise mitigation techniques
Experience working across design, test, and production environments
