Responsibilities
Electronic Design: Design, develop, modify, and evaluate electronic parts, components, and integrated circuitry for semiconductor equipment and electrical engineering applications.
Systems Development: Lead projects involving power distribution, vacuum systems, high voltage, control systems, robotics, safety interlocks, and electro‑static chuck technologies.
Process Adherence: Ensure compliance with requirements planning, schedule estimation, concept/design reviews, and verification/validation test plans.
Cross‑Functional Collaboration: Interface with design services and offshore teams to deliver quality designs on time.
Testing & Analysis: Analyze equipment performance, conduct experimental tests, and evaluate results to validate design objectives.
Compliance & Standards: Ensure designs meet safety, SEMI standards, and customer‑specific requirements.
Component Selection: Select components and equipment based on specifications, reliability, and vendor capability.
Documentation & Change Management: Prepare engineering documentation and manage engineering change notices.
Technical Leadership: Lead and participate in technical design reviews, providing expertise in systems engineering, high‑voltage, RF power, PCB design, and power distribution.
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
Minimum 5 years of electrical/electronic hardware design experience.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Experience conducting technical design reviews and managing engineering change processes.
Expertise in one or more areas: Systems engineering, High‑voltage, RF power, PCB design, Power distribution.
Proficiency with Altium, PADS, PSpice; familiarity with Creo Schematic, AutoCAD, Windchill is a plus.
Semiconductor capital equipment experience is highly desirable.
