Role Responsibilities
• Design, develop, and implement electrical systems, circuits, and components
• Prepare electrical drawings, schematics, single-line diagrams, and technical documentation
• Perform load calculations, power distribution analysis, and system evaluations
• Conduct testing, troubleshooting, validation, and performance analysis of electrical systems
• Collaborate with mechanical, manufacturing, quality, and project teams throughout the product lifecycle
• Ensure compliance with NEC, IEEE, UL, and other applicable electrical standards
• Support installation, commissioning, and maintenance activities
• Analyze technical issues and implement corrective actions to improve system performance and reliability
• Participate in design reviews and provide engineering recommendations
• Prepare project reports, specifications, and engineering documentation
• Assist in project planning, scheduling, budgeting, and risk assessment activities
Qualifications
Required
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related engineering discipline
• 1-5+ years of experience in electrical engineering, design, or related field
• Proficiency with AutoCAD Electrical, ETAP, MATLAB, SolidWorks Electrical, or similar engineering software
• Strong understanding of electrical systems, power distribution, controls, and circuit design
• Knowledge of NEC, IEEE, NFPA, and industry safety standards
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
Preferred
• EIT or PE certification preferred
• Experience with power systems, industrial automation, semiconductor, manufacturing, or renewable energy projects
• Knowledge of PLCs, control systems, instrumentation, and testing equipment
• Project management experience is a plus
