Electrical Engineer

Electrical Engineer with experience in digital and analog design is needed to develop schematics and printed circuit boards for new product design.

This company is very healthy and has a profit-sharing package that can boost your income in a real way. This job is in eastern Pennsylvania, not far from Hackettstown.

You will design products that involve embedded microcontrollers, analog design, digital design, and power electronics. Products are sold to a wide range of industrial customers.

REQUIREMENTS

BS/MS in Electrical, Electronic, or Computer Engineering.
7+ years of electrical engineering experience with a focus on digital circuits.
Familiarity with analog circuits and power electronics preferred.
Experience interacting with production and quality to get the best results

Technical Proficiency:
Digital logic, embedded microcontrollers, and internal serial communications (SPI, I²C).
External communications (e.g. Ethernet, RS-232, RS-485) and protection in harsh environments.
Integrated design tools (e.g. Altium) for schematic and PCB layout.
Knowledge of circuit simulation tools (e.g. Plexim, Simulink, LTspice) preferred.
Knowledge of FPGA/CPLD development and HDL (e.g. VHDL, Verilog) preferred.
Knowledge of IPC-610, UL/CSA, and related compliance standards preferred.
