Position Overview
We are looking for an Electrical Engineer to support the design, testing, and integration of electrical harnesses for spacecraft and associated ground support equipment.
This is a great opportunity for an engineer with 2–5 years of experience who wants to work on hands-on electrical systems within the space and aerospace industry.
Key Responsibilities
Design and test electrical harnesses for spacecraft and ground systems.
Create electrical schematics, harness drawings, block diagrams, and technical documentation.
Select wires, connectors, backshells, and other harness components.
Support cable routing, shielding, and EMI/EMC requirements.
Develop and execute electrical harness test plans and procedures.
Analyze test results and troubleshoot electrical issues.
Support integration of harnesses with power, RF, command and data handling, and other spacecraft subsystems.
Work closely with electrical, mechanical, and other engineering teams.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
2–5 years of relevant industry experience.
Understanding of electrical harness design, wiring, connectors, cable routing, and electrical schematics.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary engineering teams.
Preferred Experience
Space, satellite, or aerospace experience.
Experience with harness CAD tools such as AutoCAD Electrical, CATIA, Autodesk Inventor, or Mentor Graphics.
Experience with SPICE, MATLAB, or similar electrical analysis tools.
Understanding of shielding and EMI/EMC considerations.
Experience gained through professional roles, internships, co-ops, or relevant aerospace engineering projects.
Hands-on experience working with electrical hardware in a laboratory environment.
