Location: Onsite in Youngstown, OH
Salary: $80-110k

Position Overview
We are seeking a motivated Electrical Engineer to design, develop, and support electrical control systems for industrial automation projects. The ideal candidate will lead circuit design and PLC-based control system development, produce clear documentation and drawings, and work closely with manufacturing and project teams to deliver reliable, compliant solutions on schedule.

Key Responsibilities
Design and develop electrical control systems, schematics, and wiring diagrams for machinery and automation projects.
Program, configure, and troubleshoot PLCs (Allen-Bradley, Siemens) and design HMI interfaces for operator control and diagnostics.
Create and maintain electrical drawings using AutoCAD Electrical and perform 3D electrical integration in SolidWorks as required.
Select components, define bill of materials, and ensure proper protection, grounding, and compliance with applicable electrical codes (NEC/IEC).
Lead factory acceptance testing (FAT), site commissioning, startup support, and field troubleshooting to resolve electrical and control issues.
Produce clear technical documentation, wiring lists, test procedures, and handover materials for customers and service teams.
Qualifications
3+ years of hands-on experience in electrical design and industrial control systems, preferably in manufacturing or automation environments.
Proven experience programming and troubleshooting PLCs/HMIs, specifically Allen-Bradley and Siemens platforms; familiarity with ladder logic, function block, and structured text.
Strong circuit design skills, including component selection, protection coordination, and grounding practices.
Proficient with AutoCAD or SolidWorks for electrical layout and design.
Working knowledge of electrical codes and standards (NEC, IEC) and experience preparing compliant documentation.
