About Us
We are a staffing services technology company that helps organizations design, build, and scale digital products and engineering capabilities. Our teams deliver end-to-end software development, engineering, and design services, and we provide flexible staffing solutions to augment internal teams with specialized talent—quickly and reliably.
The Role
We are looking for a talented Electrical Engineer to join our distributed hardware engineering team. Whether you are a mid-career engineer looking to broaden your scope in consumer electronics/industrial automation or a senior-level Hardware Architect ready to lead critical PCB and power system decisions, we have a spot for you on our ladder. You will work across the full hardware lifecycle, bridging the gap between schematic design, firmware integration, and manufacturing to ensure product reliability and performance.
What You’ll Do
Design & Develop: Design, simulate, and prototype complex electrical systems, including mixed-signal PCBs, power management units (PMU), and microcontroller-based control circuits.
Collaborate: Work closely with Firmware Engineers, Mechanical Engineers, and Product Managers in an Agile hardware environment to define electrical requirements, form factors, and power budgets.
Testing & Validation: Ensure high reliability and compliance; design and execute rigorous test plans (EVT/DVT/PVT), perform board bring-up, and conduct root cause analysis on hardware failures.
Architecture: Contribute to system-wide architectural decisions (processor selection, sensor integration, communication buses) and help evolve the hardware stack to meet future product roadmaps.
DFM & Supply Chain: Work with contract manufacturers (CMs) to optimize designs for manufacturing (DFM) and test (DFT); manage component selection (BOM) to mitigate supply chain risks.
Compliance & Safety: Implement rigorous design standards for EMI/EMC compliance, thermal management, and safety certifications (UL, CE, FCC).
Mentorship: (For Senior+ roles) Mentor junior engineers and provide technical leadership on complex analog/digital design challenges and layout reviews.
Maintenance: Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing hardware platforms; manage lifecycle updates (EOL components) and vendor technical relationships.

Bonus Points
Certifications: Professional Engineering (PE) license or certifications in specific technologies (e.g., IPC CID/CID+).
RF Design: Experience with RF circuit design, antenna matching, and wireless protocols (Bluetooth/BLE, Wi-Fi, LoRa, Zigbee).
Firmware: Ability to write basic firmware (C/C++) for board bring-up and driver development.
High-Speed Design: Knowledge of high-speed signal integrity, impedance control, and differential pair routing (DDR, PCIe, MIPI).
FPGA: Experience with FPGA design and verification (Verilog/VHDL, Xilinx/Intel).
Compliance: Familiarity with specific regulatory standards (IEC 60601 for medical, ISO 26262 for automotive).

Compensation & Benefits
We believe in paying top-of-market rates for top-tier talent. The base salary range for this role is $150,000 to $195,000, with exact placement determined by your skills, years of experience, and interview performance.

Additional Benefits:
Equity: Competitive stock option package.
Remote Setup: Home office stipend to get your workspace set up perfectly.
Health: Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance.
Time Off: Flexible PTO policy + Company Holidays.
