Position Overview:
We are looking for a Senior Electrical Engineer who possesses extensive experience in electrical design, analysis, and project management. The successful candidate will lead complex electrical engineering projects from conception to completion, leveraging their expertise to drive innovation, ensure quality, and deliver exceptional results.
Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and test electrical systems and components across a range of advanced tech projects
Collaborate with mechanical, software, and project teams to integrate electrical designs into larger systems
Conduct feasibility studies, risk assessments, and cost estimations
Analyze and optimize electrical circuits and systems using simulation and modeling tools
Generate clear, detailed documentation—schematics, specs, reports—for internal teams
Lead or contribute to technical reviews and project planning
Ensure compliance with applicable regulatory and industry standards
Support prototyping, validation, and troubleshooting to ensure performance and reliability
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
10+ years of hands-on experience in electrical design, analysis, and system development from prototype to production
Proficiency with schematic entry tools (e.g., Altium Designer, Cadence)
Proficiency with PCB layout viewer and gerber viewer tools
Understanding of the PCBA manufacturing process
Understanding of DFx principles and practices
Strong knowledge of circuit theory, power systems, and electromechanical design
Ability to work cross-functionally in a collaborative, fast-paced environment
Excellent communication skills, both technical and non-technical
Preferred Skills:
Experience with software (C, C++, Assembly) and scripting languages (Python, Perl)
Experience with circuit simulation software
Familiarity with hardware description languages (HDL) such as Verilog or VHDL
Proficiency in PCB layout creation tools (e.g., Altium Designer, Cadence)
Experience with regulatory compliance standards and testing
Experience in managing project schedules and budgets
