Join a cutting-edge engineering team developing advanced power conversion technologies and next-generation DC/DC power products. This is an exciting opportunity for a hands-on Power Electronics Engineer to drive innovation from concept through production while collaborating with cross-functional teams and customers.
Pay rate: $130,000-$140,000 annually. The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.
What You'll Do
Design and develop advanced DC/DC power conversion products using innovative power electronics technologies.
Lead all aspects of product development, including:
Power converter design
High-frequency magnetics design
Analog circuit design
Component selection and evaluation
Simulation, testing, and validation
PCB layout and design review
Functional specification development
Drive product development from concept through manufacturing release and production.
Develop and maintain engineering documentation for all designs.
Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, quality, and product teams throughout the development lifecycle.
Interface directly with customers and internal stakeholders to support technical requirements and product objectives.
Contribute to R&D initiatives, topology development, and advanced electrical design projects.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering required; Master's degree preferred.
5+ years of hands-on power electronics design experience with one or more of the following:
AC/DC converters
DC/DC converters
Voltage Regulator Modules (VRMs)
Bus converters
Strong understanding of high-frequency switching power supply topologies and control architectures.
Demonstrated expertise in:
High-frequency magnetics design
Power conversion circuit design and analysis
Circuit simulation and modeling
PCB layout considerations
Feedback control theory
EMC/EMI compliance
Digital and analog interface circuitry
Strong analytical and mathematical problem-solving abilities.
Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities.
Proven ability to lead technical initiatives as both an individual contributor and team leader.
Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
