Adecco Permanent Recruitment is seeking an Electrical Engineer to join our client's innovative product development team in Charlotte NC.

Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and integrate electrical and electro-mechanical subsystems for autonomous and robotic platforms.
Support embedded control systems development and electrical integration efforts.
Own electrical designs from concept through field deployment, including schematic development, PCBA design, component selection, prototyping, testing, and validation.
Develop and support mobile power systems, including batteries, generators, power electronics, and related infrastructure.
Create and maintain electrical documentation including schematics, BOMs, test plans, build instructions, and configuration records.
Design, fabricate, and troubleshoot electrical harnesses and wiring systems.
Conduct testing, validation, and quality inspections, including continuity testing, bench testing, and system verification.
Support field deployments, customer demonstrations, troubleshooting, and technical problem resolution.
Collaborate closely with software, mechanical, manufacturing, and systems engineering teams to deliver integrated solutions.
Participate in rapid development cycles, prototype iterations, and continuous product improvement initiatives.
Apply EMI/EMC mitigation techniques and robust grounding strategies to improve system reliability in demanding operating environments.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Robotics Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
2+ years of professional electrical engineering experience supporting complex electro-mechanical systems.
Experience with embedded systems and microcontroller-based designs.
Working knowledge of Python and/or C++ in support of embedded or robotics applications.
Strong experience with:
Circuit design and troubleshooting
Schematic capture and review
PCBA design and development
Component selection and sourcing
Power management systems
Electrical harness design
Demonstrated experience taking a PCBA from concept through production and deployment.
Experience designing mobile power solutions involving batteries, generators, inverters, or power electronics.
Comfortable using laboratory equipment for validation, testing, and troubleshooting.
Familiarity with Git version control and Linux environments.
Strong communication, documentation, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities and project deadlines.
Preferred Qualifications
CAN Bus communication systems
EMI/EMC design and noise mitigation
Battery management systems and charging infrastructure
Robotics or autonomous vehicle systems
Networking fundamentals and IP-based communications
Defense, aerospace, autonomous vehicle, or high-reliability product development experience
Experience supporting products through field deployment and operational testing
This role subject to International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) requirements and as such, U.S. Citizen, Permanent Resident or U.S. Person Status Required.
