Role
Own and deliver electrical design, validation, and industrialization of power electronics products and systems, ensuring performance, safety, compliance, manufacturability, and lifecycle reliability across Solar, BESS/PCS, EV Chargers, Electrolysers, and Industrial Power Systems, Microgrid and Data centre products
Key Responsibilities
Electrical Design and Engineering of Power Conversion products for solar, PCS, EC Charger and industrial power conversion products.
Define system-level electrical architecture.
Prepare BOM and Electrical Engineering Schematics, Component selection
Own power stage design (rectifiers, inverters, DC-DC stages).
Define protection, grounding, and insulation strategies.
Select and qualify semiconductors, magnetics, and passives.
Support Prototype development
Compliance, Safety & EMC
Ensure compliance with:
IEC / UL / IS standards
Grid codes and product safety norms
Own creepage & clearance, insulation coordination, and earthing.
Drive EMI/EMC design and mitigation strategies.
Support certification and third-party audits.
Electrical Validation & Reliability
Define electrical validation plans (DVT, HALT, HASS).
Support thermal and derating analysis.
Conduct failure analysis and corrective actions.
Drive design robustness and reliability improvements.
Manufacturing & Cost Optimization
Support NPI, production ramp-up, and yield improvement.
Drive BOM optimization and cost reduction.
Support supplier technical discussions and qualification.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Work closely with:
Control & embedded software teams
Mechanical & thermal engineering
System engineering & validation
Supply chain & manufacturing

Education and Experience Engineers: Eng : 2–8 years/ Senior Eng : 8-12 /Leads: 8–15 years
BE/B Tech in Electrical and Electronic Engineering /MTech in Power Electronics
Should have product development experience in relevant industries.
Should have knowledge of relevant IEC /UL Codes.
Should have hand on experience in Testing of Power Converter
Strong domains know- how in relevant Product industries (Solar, Wind, EV Charger, LV/MV Drives, UPS and Other Power Conversion product industry)
Should have knowledge of SAP/ PLM System
