EDM Programmer and Operator

About The Job

The EDM Programmer / Operator is responsible for programming, setting up, operating, and maintaining EDM equipment. This position requires a high degree of precision, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Perform programming to set up and operate EDM equipment to ensure proper operation and functionality when making high precision parts.
Ability to run the equipment while adjusting and making corrections in set-up as required to ensure parts produced are in conformance to specifications. Must verify parts meet extremely close tolerance dimensions and alignments according to blueprints.
Program machines using VISI software.
Maintain inventory of supplies and spare parts, and order supplies required for proper operation when necessary.
Perform and document all preventive maintenance on equipment.
Maintain workstation safety, cleanliness, organization, and safety compliance.
