Job Description: 

This role designs, develops, tests, and maintains software tools, workflows, and methodologies that enable design automation and support engineering teams involved in hardware product design, process development, and manufacturing. The position requires practical industry experience in data analytics and AI, along with a strong understanding of current and emerging AI/ML trends, and the ability to apply these technologies to real world business and engineering problems. The role may involve contributing to agentic AI development, including intelligent agents that orchestrate tasks, workflows, or system interactions. The successful candidate will translate business and technical requirements into scalable, reliable, and AI enabled software solutions, while continuously identifying opportunities to improve automation, analytics, and operational efficiency.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Contribute to AI/ML use cases, including data preparation, model integration, and performance analysis.
  • Stay current with AI and Machine Learning trends, tools, and best practices, including emerging frameworks and enterprise AI adoption patterns.
  • Design, develop, and maintain Power BI reports and dashboards for business and engineering analytics.
  • Transform, automate, and model data into actionable insights using business analytics and AI techniques.
  • Administrate, support, and enhance the issue management ticketing system
  • Collaborate closely with cross functional stakeholders to deliver robust, scalable, and maintainable solutions.

Qualifications:

Minimum qualifications are required to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • B.S. or M.S. in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Data Science, or related disciplines.
  • 2-3 years of relevant industry experience in software development, data engineering, analytics, or AI related roles.
  • Hands on experience with AI / Machine Learning concepts, frameworks, or applied use cases.
  • Strong programming and debugging skills in Python and SQL, with experience working in Windows and Unix/Linux environments (experience with C, C++, C#, or Perl is a plus).
  • Solid understanding of relational database (RDBMS), data structures, and algorithms.
  • Demonstrated ability to apply AI or analytics solutions to business or engineering problems.


Preferred qualifications include: practical experience with Power BI, Power Apps, and DAX, hands on involvement in Machine Learning and AI workflows, strong knowledge of data modelling and modern analytics platforms, and exposure to web development using HTML and JavaScript, along with experience using Git, JIRA, Jenkins, CI/CD pipelines, Splunk, and Test Driven Development (TDD). Familiarity with code quality analysis, software metrics, and maintainability practices

The ideal candidate demonstrates strong analytical thinking, problem solving, and debugging skills, communicates clearly and effectively in written and spoken English, and thrives in a fast paced, collaborative environment. The individual is self motivated, capable of working independently, able to manage multiple priorities effectively, and is willing to rotate across projects to expand technical depth, AI expertise, and overall engineering impact.
