Day to Day:
Support joint use programs by reviewing field data and developing engineering designs for fiber and other communication attachments. This role focuses on post-construction analysis, make‑ready design, and resolving safety and clearance violations in accordance with applicable standards.
Key Responsibilities
Review and analyze field data, including post‑inspection construction information
Create engineering designs for new communication attachments in joint use environments
Identify and resolve safety and clearance violations
Support make‑ready construction efforts for telecom and electric facilities
Accurately identify electric and communication infrastructure in the field
Ensure designs comply with applicable safety and utility standards
Must Haves:
-Bachelor of Science in GIS, Engineering Technology or related
-1+ year working experience with Joint Use design experience
-Previous distribution knowledge
-GIS or other design software (CAD)
-Ability to demonstrate strong written, verbal and interpersonal communications skills
Plusses:
-JETS
-Excel
-Work management software experience
Compensation:
$26/hr
Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching. Employees in this role are also entitled to paid sick leave and/or other paid time off as provided by applicable law.
