What To Expect
We’re a small, focused team working on build and simulation infrastructure to support vehicle firmware development. Engineers use our infrastructure to run millions of builds and simulations per day, iterating on everything from traction control algorithms to fault-tolerant power systems. We customize cutting-edge build systems (buck2) and develop in-house simulation software and deploy it to a mix of dockerized, HPC, and specialized hosts.

What You'll Do

Architect, plan and implement a distributed build service compatible with buck2 remote execution
Implement features for our internal, rust-based simulation engine, interfacing with vehicle firmware and physics models
Characterize infrastructure for bottlenecks, work with infrastructure teams to scope and procure appropriate hardware for our systems
Analyze the organizations use of build and simulation tooling, making recommendations for future direction
Design and maintain monitoring/alerting systems, to assist with incident diagnosis and monitoring long-term performance trends
Support internal users to improve their workflow and iteration speed

What You'll Bring

A high level of proficiency in low-level multi-threaded/async code (Rust or C++)
A strong desire to improve the workflows of other engineers
Expertise in networked file systems, linux internals and performance monitoring
Experience with distributed schedulers (k8s, slurm, docker swarm)
Familiarity with data-driven observability
